Description
This building, located about 3 meters north of a cottage to the east of the group known as Gwenapp Sunny Corner Cottages, is an outbuilding that is likely a wash house, dating from the late 18th century. It features walls made of killas rubble and a scantle slate roof, along with a large stone stack in three stages on the right (east) gable end. The building has a single-cell plan and is a single storey. The south front includes a small window in the middle and a doorway to the right with a ledge door, while there is a blocked opening to the left. The interior has not been inspected. During the survey in 1985, a fallen elvan monolith boundary stone with an incised inscription of "NO" with serifs was noted in the yard to the north.
