Description
The Taprell monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard adjacent to the south wall of the south porch of the Church of St Bartholomew in Lostwithiel. This 17th-century monument is made of granite and features a slate top. The flat top has a moulded edge and rests on a moulded plinth. The slate top bears a recarved inscription dedicated to William Taprell, dated 1652.
