Description

The Bartlett Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 5 metres north of the north chapel of the Church of St Peter. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a hipped and corniced table, recessed corner balusters, and a central fluted pilaster that divides fielded panels. It also has a reeded fascia. The monument commemorates William Bartlet, who died in 1794, and his wife Ann, who died in 1782.
