Description
Shelsey is a house located on Vicarage Road in Breage, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed dressed granite with granite sills and features an asbestos slate roof with projecting eaves. There are brick chimneys on the right gable end and over the left cross party wall. The house has a single depth plan, consisting of two nearly equal rooms on either side of a central cross passage. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical north front with three windows and a round-headed central doorway. The original door has six panes with a round central pane. The windows are 12-pane hornless sashes. The interior has not been inspected. This house is part of a semi-planned group around a triangular village green, which is now enclosed.
