House, one of 2 similar adjoining houses. Circa early C19. Coursed dressed granite with granite sills. Asbestos slate roof with projecting eaves. Brick chimney over the gable end, right, and over cross party wall, left. Single depth plan: 2 nearly equal rooms flanking a central cross passage. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3 window north front with round-headed central doorway. Original 6-pane door with round central pane (compare No 7 qv). 12-pane hornless sashes. Interior not inspected. This house forms part of a semi-planned group around a triangular village green (now enclosed).
