Description

Sunrise and the house attached to the east are a pair of attached houses built in the mid to late 19th century, with few later alterations. They are constructed from slatestone rubble with brick dressings and feature a slate roof adorned with crested ridge tiles and gable ends. The houses have gable end stacks and an axial stack with brick shafts. Each house has a two-room plan, with one room at the front and one at the rear, and an additional room on the inner side that is heated from the axial stack. The entrances are located at the outer end of the front. Sunrise is on the right, while the attached house is on the left. The exterior is two storeys high, presenting a symmetrical four-window front. All windows are original 19th-century four-pane sashes, featuring cambered brick arches and brick jambs. The ground floor on both sides has a 19th-century four-panelled door with an overlight, also with a cambered brick arch and brick jambs. The interior has not been inspected.
