Description
This house, located immediately east of Bonython in Grampound, dates from the early 19th century and has undergone few alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed of rendered stone rubble and features a slurried scantle slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. The building has gable end stacks with brick shafts.
The house has a two-room plan with a central entrance, with each room being of equal size and heated by a gable end stack. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical two-window front. On the ground floor, there is a central 20th-century glazed door, flanked by 16-pane sash windows from the 19th century on both sides. The first floor features 19th-century two-light casement windows with eight panes and L hinges on the right and left. The sides of the house are adjacent to the neighboring properties. The interior has not been inspected.
