Description

This stile, located approximately 40 metres south-west of Treloan Farmhouse, dates from around 1800. It is constructed from slate rubble and features three steps on each side. The stile is positioned between a horizontal bedded stone and an earth hedge to the north, and a horizontal bedded free-standing wall made of stone and clay mortar to the south. A monolith granite gate post is situated midway along the south side. The north walling connects to a field wall that has a partly herringbone coursing pattern. An iron top bar, which is a reused cart axle, completes the structure.
