Description

No. 13 is a town house from the 18th century, with an attached coach house built in the late 19th century. The front of the house features slate hanging on studwork, while the coach house is constructed of slatestone rubble with brick and granite dressings. The house has a rendered stack on the left, a brick stack on the right, and a rubble stack behind. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys over a basement, with a two-window range. The left side has original hornless sash windows with thick glazing bars, and on the right, there is a very tall original round-headed stair window with similar glazing bars. The central doorway features an original six-panel door with fielded panels, set within an early to mid-19th century latticed porch. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to retain most of its original features.
