Description
Two headstones, dated 1783 and 1805, are located 4 metres to the southwest of the south porch of the Church of St Winwalo in Tremaine. They commemorate Catherine Sandercock, who died in 1783, and John Sandercock, who died in 1805. Both headstones are made of slate and feature segmental arched heads with curved shoulders. The inscriptions are in upper and lower case lettering with serifs. The headstone for Catherine Sandercock is adorned with two angel heads.
