Description

The milestone located on the west driveway of the Trelowarren estate dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is an elliptically-headed dressed granite monolith with a rectangular shape. On the north-east side, there is an incised inscription in Roman lettering that reads: "FROM TRELOWARREN 1 MILE." This is the only milestone associated with Trelowarren in this parish.
