Description
This is a house located in St Germans, dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century, including a rear outshut, and further changes in the 20th century. The building is constructed of rubble and is rendered. It features a thatched roof that is hipped over the right end and has a gable end on the left. There is a gable end stack on the left and a stack at the front right corner, while the outshut has a slate roof.
The house has a two-room plan, with the entrance leading directly into the room on the left; both rooms are heated by an end stack. The exterior is two storeys high, with the front displaying two small two-light casements located under the eaves. The wall on the right breaks forward to accommodate the rendered stack. There is a glazed 20th-century door to the left. The right side of the house has a two-light 20th-century casement on both the ground and first floors, and the outshut to the right features a single light window from the 20th century. The rear includes a single casement and a two-light casement under the eaves, along with two 20th-century windows in the outshut.
The interior of the house is not accessible for viewing.
