This is an 18th-century milestone located at SX 332 570 in St Germans. It is made of granite and has a rounded head, standing about 70 centimetres high. At the base, there is a benchmark, and the upper part features carved painted lettering in upper case with serifs, arranged in a semi-circle that reads "TORPT. 9," indicating the distance to Torpoint.
