Description

Hessenford Bridge is a bridge over the River Seaton, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from slatestone rubble with granite copings. The bridge measures approximately 10 metres in length and about 6 metres in width. On the upstream side, there are three low rounded arches with cutwaters, while the downstream side features three taller rounded arches without cutwaters. The parapet walls have roughly hewn granite coping.
