SW 62 NE SITHNEY GWAVAS
8/316 House at approximately 70 metres - north west of Gwavas Farmhouse 5.11.74 II
Farmhouse. Possibly C18, remodelled circa late C19. Painted rubble with granite dressings. Dry Delabole roof with brick chimneys over the gable ends. Cast-iron ogee gutters. Plan: Single depth plan. 2 rooms flanking a central entrance hall plus single storey outbuilding or service range adjoining and projecting in front at the left-hand side. Exterior: 2 storeys. Irregular 3 window south-east front with approximately central doorway. Wall surface show evidence alterations and probably heightening of the front of circa late C19, the date of the door and windows. 4-Panel door with top panels, later glazed, horned sashes; mostly 4-pane sashes in tall openings. Interior: Not inspected.
