Description
This is a farmhouse located approximately 70 metres north-west of Gwavas Farmhouse. It is possibly from the 18th century and was remodelled around the late 19th century. The building is constructed of painted rubble with granite dressings and features a dry Delabole roof with brick chimneys at the gable ends. It has cast-iron ogee gutters.
The farmhouse has a single depth plan, consisting of two rooms on either side of a central entrance hall, along with a single-storey outbuilding or service range that adjoins and projects in front on the left side. The exterior is two storeys high with an irregular three-window front facing south-east, featuring an approximately central doorway. The wall surface shows signs of alterations and likely heightening from the late 19th century, which corresponds with the date of the door and windows. The entrance has a four-panel door with the top panels later glazed, and the windows are mostly four-pane sashes set in tall openings.
The interior has not been inspected.
