GV II

Group of outbuildings, mostly stables. Circa early or mid C19. Painted rubble walls, dressed granite quoins, jambstones and lintels. Grouted scantle slate roofs with gable ends, the front part of the main stable replaced with corrugated asbestos. Brick chimney over one gable end. Shallow irregular U-shaped group: central 2 bay stable building with adjoining single cell stable, right; and at right angles at either end 2 other single-cell buildings, the left hand one adjoining the left hand gable end of the main block and the right hand one set back and detached from the right hand gable end. Single storey. The main stable front is symmetrical with a central doorway and a window at either side, the adjoining stable, right, has a wide doorway, left, and a small. window, right. There is a brick chimney over the gable end. The other buildings each have a doorway in its front gable end, the left hand gable is weatherboarded. Ledged doors. These buildings are an important contribution to a closely relating group of listed buildings in this hamlet.
