Description
Higher Trevorgus Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1830 to 1840, constructed from stone rubble with a scantle slate roof that has hipped ends and rendered brick end stacks. The building has a double depth plan with the entrance located near the center. The two main rooms at the front are heated by side stacks, and there is a staircase at the rear of the right-hand room. A service range, which has a one-room plan, is set back to the right and is heated by an end stack, creating an overall 'L' shaped layout. The farmhouse features a symmetrical two-storey front with three windows, dressed stone flat arches above the openings, and original 16-pane sash windows on the front elevation. There is a 20th-century door and a renewed doorframe, which is flanked by two sashes, with three additional sashes positioned above. The interior has not been inspected. An adjoining mounting block is located on the right-hand end wall.
