ST MERRYN SW 87 SE 3/255 Higher Trevorgus Farmhouse including adjoining mounting block to west

Farmhouse. Circa 1830-40. Stone rubble. Scantle slate roof with hipped ends and rendered brick end stacks. Plan: Double depth plan with entrance near centre, the 2 principal rooms to front heated by side stacks. Stair to rear of right hand room. Service range of 1-room plan, set back to right, heated by end stack, forming an overall 'L' shaped plan with mounting block on right hand end wall. Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3 window front with dressed stone flat arches to openings and complete original 16-pane sashes on front elevation. C20 door and renewed doorframe flanked by 2 sashes with 3 above. Interior: Not inspected.
