Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century cottage located in Mousehole, on Portland Place (the South Side). Previously listed under Old Quay Street, it is constructed from granite rubble with a slate roof, featuring gable ends. The cottage is two storeys high and originally had two windows. These have been replaced with small, restored sash windows without glazing bars. A modern glazed door is present. To the left, a recessed section has a corrugated asbestos roof and a whitewashed end wall with small, modern casements. The building is included on the list for its group value alongside numbers 9 and 11.
