Description

This is a late 18th century cottage located in Worsbrough Village. The cottage is constructed from sandstone rubble with a Welsh slate roof. It is two storeys high and originally had two windows on the first floor. The central quoined doorway, originally featuring a deep lintel, has been altered to form a window. A 20th century part-glazed door has been inserted on the left-hand side, with a small 20th century casement window positioned adjacent. A further 20th century casement window is located on the ground floor to the right. The first-floor windows are 20th century casements, with the window on the left retaining the original square-faced surround. A brick end stack is present on the right-hand side. The cottage is listed for its group value.
