Description

Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse from the mid to late 18th century, with a 20th-century extension that spans the full width of the rear. It is constructed from deeply-coursed, dressed sandstone and features a 20th-century tile roof. The building has two storeys and five bays, with projecting ashlar quoins. The central doorway includes a 20th-century door set within a corniced architrave. The flanking bays contain sash windows with glazing bars, projecting sills, and surrounds that have small keyblocks. There is a band at the first floor level, with 8-pane sashes above. Each end of the elevation has a section of cornice, and the building is topped with kneelers and ashlar gable copings, along with ashlar end stacks.
