Description
Mr Gartrell's Workshop and No 6 is a building dating from the 18th or 19th century, located on the north side of Mousehole Old Quay Street. The structure is made of whitewashed rubble and features a slurried slate roof with a hipped end. It is two storeys high and has three irregularly placed windows. The workshop has later sash windows without glazing bars, while No 6 has modern casements with glazing bars. There are two doorways, with No 6 featuring a modern door. The right end elevation includes external granite steps leading to a first-floor modern glazed porch. This building is included for its group value, as it forms part of a group with Portland House, Trelawny, Mr Gartrell's Workshop, No 6, and Mr Grenfell's Workshop, alongside Wharf House on the Wharf.
