Description

This is an early to mid-19th century cottage, likely remodelled from a late 17th-century structure, situated on the south side of High Street in Marshfield. The exterior is constructed of rubble with a 20th-century tiled roof featuring coped, raised verges. The cottage has two storeys and displays two glazing bar sash windows and one four-pane sash window, all set within simple stone surrounds. A central entrance features a six-panel door sheltered by a flat stone hood supported on brackets. The building is listed for its contribution to the wider group value of the street.
