Description

White Hart Cottage is a house that dates from the late 17th century and was remodeled in the mid to late 18th century. It features painted rubble construction and a double Roman tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a basement, with five windows and a door on the ground floor and two windows on the first floor. The windows are glazing bar sash windows, paired in the outer bays of the ground floor, and there is an off-centre six-panel door.

Inside, the left-hand room contains a shell-headed cupboard and a fireplace with a fluted and reeded surround, along with a duck's nest grate. The right-hand room has a stop-chamfered beam. White Hart Cottage has now been converted into one house with No. 67 High Street.
