Description
The holy well at Venton Glidder Farm, located approximately 50 meters north of the Venton Glidder Farmhouse, is possibly dedicated to St Clether and has ancient origins. However, the current structure likely dates from the 17th century. It is built from dressed granite and shale rubble and has a rectangular plan. The well features a square-headed, chamfered granite doorway. Sources for its historical significance include J Mayrick's "A Pilgrims Guide to the Holy Wells of Cornwall."
