Description

Bluehaven and the house attached to the rear is a building that has been divided into two houses. It likely started as one house, which may have included the adjacent Redstones. The building dates from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features an asbestos slate roof with a large external rubble stack on the left side, rising from the front slope of the roof.

The structure may represent the upper end and passage of an early house, probably split into separate residences in the late 18th or early 19th century. The entrance is located on the right, with one room to the left. The rear rooms are now in separate occupation. The building has two storeys and one window. On the ground floor to the left, there is a 20-pane sash window, a 20th-century brick porch, and a door to the right. The first floor features a 6-pane sash window and a small single light, along with a dormer that has a hipped roof and a 4-pane sash window. The wall is chamfered off to the left. The left side of the building is partly rendered towards the rear, with a 20th-century window on the ground and first floors, and a 4-pane sash window in the attic. There is also a 20th-century door to the left of the stack. The rear of the building has two 4-pane sash windows on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
