Description

The terrace wall in front of Nos. 1 and 3 is a late 18th century or early 19th century structure. It is built from local rubble and features a battered retaining wall topped with dressed granite copings. The wall is also adorned with simple wrought-iron railings that have widely-spaced stanchions and two horizontal rails. This terrace wall is a notable feature that enhances the appearance of the churchyard walls of the nearby Church of St Michael.
