Description
No. 6 Marlborough Road is a house located at the end of a terrace, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features stucco on masonry with a mid-floor string and has a hipped roof made of asbestos slate. The building has a shallow-depth plan and stands two storeys tall. Its front is symmetrical with three bays, where the central bay is slightly recessed and narrower than the others. Each bay is defined by rusticated pilasters, and there is a mid-floor string. The original windows are 12-pane hornless sashes, and there is a wide central doorway topped with a hood supported by consoles, which leads to an early 20th-century pair of glazed and panelled doors. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to retain original features.
