Description

This milestone, located at SW779330, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of painted dressed granite and features a pyramidal head. The shaft is triangular in shape at the top and square at the base. Two sides of the milestone are inscribed with large pyramid stops. The left side reads "PENRYN 1M" and the right side reads "GWEEK 7M LIZARD 17M".
