Description
Farmhouse, dating from around the middle of the 19th century. It's constructed of killas and granite rubble with granite dressings, and brick arches above the openings. The roof is hipped, with dry Delabole slate covering it, and there's a brick chimney positioned over the rear walls of the front rooms. The design follows a double-depth plan, with two rooms at the front, flanked by a central entrance hall. A stair hall sits between the front rooms and the service rooms at the rear. The exterior is predominantly symmetrical with three windows across the front. The central doorway is round-arched, with an original four-panel door (the top panels have been glazed more recently) and a simple fanlight above. A large canted bay window is located to the right of the doorway and other windows are set within segmental arches. These windows are original hornless sash windows with glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
