Description
The tombchest of William and Margaret Jory is located 7.5 metres southeast of the southeast corner of the south aisle of the parish church in Menheniot. This tombchest commemorates William Jory, who died in 1811, and his wife Margaret. It is constructed from coursed ashlar slate stone and features a moulded cap. The lid has incised lettering in upper case with serifs.
