Description

Eye Water is a watering place dating from 1700, marked by the inscription "D/ GEORGE/ DEMOUNTFRYART/ MAYOR." It is constructed from local rubble with some dressed granite. The structure features a rectangular sunken enclosure with four steps leading down from the west side. Inside, there is a granite trough with a semicircular end, which is set under a plain spout that is fed by a spring.
