House Adjoining On South Of Penpont Mill

This building is a converted mill, now functioning as a house, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from stone rubble and features large granite quoins. The roof is slate with gable ends, and there is a brick stack at the left end. The layout is probably a two-room, double-depth plan with the entrance located towards the rear of the right side. The principal room at the front is heated by the end stack on the left.

The exterior is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with two 20th-century two-light casement windows on the ground floor and another two-light casement window on the first floor. There is a 20th-century glazed door with a two-light casement window above it, situated towards the rear of the right side elevation. The interior has not been inspected.
