Description

25, 26, and 27 St John's Terrace are a terrace of three houses with garden walls to the front, built around the 1840s. The houses are constructed from killas rubble, featuring granite quoins, jambstones, and lintels. They have hipped asbestos slate roofs with wide eaves and brick chimneys located over the side walls and party walls.

Each house has a one-room wide double depth plan and stands two storeys tall. The south front has six windows. The middle house, No 26, and the right house, No 27, retain their original hornless 12-pane sash windows, while No 25 has 20th-century windows. The entrances are located beneath the left-hand first floor windows, with 20th-century porches added to Nos 25 and 27. The houses feature slate sills with lead flashing underneath.

The interior has not been inspected. The front garden walls are low and made of granite-coped rubble. This listing is included for its group value.
