BLISLAND SX 07 SE 8/95 Outbuilding attached to east end of Penrose Farmhouse 28.4.86 GV II

Outbuilding, probably stables with loft. Circa late C18 to early C19. Slate rubble with granite quoins. Rag slate roof with gable ends. Corrugated iron roof to rear lean-to. Plan: Rectangular plan with entrance to front left and with loft above with doorway in left gable end; and outshot at rear of left hand end. Exterior: The front has only 1 opening; doorway to the left with a granite lintel. 1 small square loft doorway in left (east) gable end with granite lintel and blocked window below. Lean-to at rear with doorway in end wall with granite lintel. One of a group of attractive buildings with Penrose Farmhouse.
