Description

This cottage, located 4 metres north of Trekeser, dates from the late 17th century. It features whitewashed rubble walls with upper sections made of cob, topped by a steeply pitched corrugated roof with gabled ends. There are brick stacks at both gable ends. The cottage is single depth and possibly consists of two cells with a cross passage. It has two storeys and an almost symmetrical front with two windows. The central timber door is sheltered by a stuccoed open porch that has a flat corrugated roof. On either side of the door are two-light horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars and a three-light 20th-century casement window. Above, there are two additional two-light horizontal sliding sash windows, each with four panes. The interior has not been inspected.
