Description
The outbuildings to the east of Trevean Farmhouse are a Grade II listed structure, likely dating from the 17th century. Originally used as a cartshed and for threshing, the building features large rubble stones at the base, with whitewashed rubble walls and cob in the gable ends. It has a gabled roof made of corrugated material, which was previously thatched. The building has a rectangular plan and is a single storey under a tall, steeply pitched roof, with an entrance located in the gable end. The opposing doors on the sides have been blocked, and the roof timbers have been replaced. This outbuilding is included in the listing for its group value with the farmhouse.
