Description
Godrevy Cottage is a cottage dating from around the 18th century, with elements from an earlier period. It is constructed of rubble stone, with whitewashed rubble and cob forming the upper walls. The roof is thatched, combed and with gabled and hipped ends, and features brick chimneys in gabled ends. The cottage is a single-depth, two-cell design with a cross passage and a projecting wing to the east, forming an L-shape, with a small projection to the rear on the west. It has two storeys and an asymmetrical design. The entrance is located at the junction of the south and east wings, featuring a partly glazed 20th-century door with a slate hood. The south wing has nine long sash windows with 6 panes over 12 panes. To the right is a 16-pane sash window with horns. The first floor features a two-light casement window with two panes per light on the south wing and a 16-pane sash without horns on the east wing. The interior has not been inspected.
