Description

The Cottage is a detached cottage, likely built in the 18th century. It features whitewashed rubble walls, timber lintels, and slate hoods over the ground floor window openings. The right side has a half hipped end and a rear wing with a gable end. The left side is slightly forward and extends to the rear, creating an L-shaped plan. The cottage has two storeys and an asymmetrical front with two windows. On the ground floor, there are two large two-light casement windows with glazing bars flanking a central, partly glazed 20th-century door. The first floor has two asymmetrically placed two-light horizontal sliding sash windows, each with six panes. There is an external projecting stone stack with offsets, topped with a slate and brick chimney on the right-hand half hipped end. The interior has not been inspected.
