Description
Glebe Cottage is a detached cottage, possibly originally built as a pair, likely from the 18th century. It features a rubble construction with a rendered front and part of the left side, topped with a thatched roof. The roof is ripped, and there is a central eaves stack at the back. The cottage has an uneven arrangement of windows, which may indicate modifications from an earlier plan for two cottages.
The building stands two storeys high, with the ground floor showcasing two wide-spaced 2-light glazing bar casements and a 20th-century gabled door on the far left. On the first floor, there is a 3-light casement with a slight eyebrow above it, located on the far right. The left side of the cottage has a 2-light window centered at the eaves, along with a small square light inserted below it. The right side features a low-set 2-light casement. All windows have wood lintels. There is a lean-to addition at the left back of the cottage. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to have seen little alteration.
