Description
Jacob's Ladder is a long flight of steps built in the 1840s. The steps are made of dressed granite, except for the bottom flight, which is mostly concrete. On the left side, there is a slurried rubble wall topped with apexed coping. Lower down, there are two ramps, and near the top on the right, there are more rubble walls. The steps are arranged in straight flights with some landings.
