Description

The stone steps in the terraced garden date from the 19th century and feature three grassed terraces that slope upwards to the east. Each terrace is connected by a centrally-placed flight of six steps. The steps are made of Cornish pink granite and are bordered by low copings. At the top of the lower flight of steps, there are large limestone balls on the copings, and shrubs are situated at the top of the upper flight of steps.
