No. 4, Green Market, is an 18th-century building in Penzance. It is constructed of stucco and has a slurried slate roof with wide eaves soffits. The building is four storeys high and features two sashes with glazing bars. A modern shop front occupies the ground floor, situated on the corner. The building is part of a group that includes Nos. 3 to 7 Green Market (consecutively numbered) and the White Lion Hotel, along with Nos. 1 to 3 (consecutively numbered) Alverton Street.
