Description

Nos 1 and 2 Alverton Road are early 19th century buildings constructed of stucco. They feature a parapet and rise to three storeys, with four sash windows that include glazing bars. The ground floor has two large shop fronts from the 19th century, which are adorned with flat Ionic pilasters, a narrow fascia, and a cornice. These buildings are included for their group value, as they form a cohesive architectural group with Nos 1 to 3 and Nos 3 to 7, along with the White Lion Hotel on Green Market.
