Description

The Methodist Chapel, located approximately 20 metres east of Gwennap Pit, is likely from the early 19th century and was undergoing alterations and renovation at the time of the survey in 1988. The building is constructed from slobbered uncoursed rubble, which had been stripped during the renovation, and features a slurried slate roof that was temporarily removed during the survey. It is a small, almost square structure with a single storey. The east end has a doorway that is now covered by modern additions, while each side of the chapel has two square-headed windows, which now have wooden glazing bars that create an arched light in the centre. The interior was not inspected.
