Description
Trefula House is an early 19th-century house that has been altered and recently enlarged with the addition of a rear wing. It is constructed of granite ashlar and features a slate roof with red cockscomb ridge tiles and brick chimneys. The building has a rectangular double-depth plan and stands two-and-a-half storeys tall with a symmetrical façade. The central doorway, which has an overlight, is now covered by a large modern flat-roofed glazed porch. On each floor, there are two 16-pane unhorned sashed windows, and a 12-pane sash window is located in the center of the first floor. The house also has three full dormers, each with 16-pane sashes and hipped roofs, as well as gable chimneys. A round-headed stair-window is present in the rear wall, but the sides, rear, and interior of the building are not considered to be of special interest.
