Description

14, 16 and 18 St Thomas Hill is a house that includes an integral coach house or possibly a former tannery, now divided into three houses. It dates from the 18th century. The ground floor is rendered on rubble, while the upper floors are covered with slate-hanging on studwork. The building has a rag slate roof and a rubble lateral stack at the rear left. It features a single-depth plan with a passage on the right side. The structure is three storeys high and has a four-window range. The windows are 20th-century sixteen-pane two-light casements. There is a central ledged door with a window to the left, a large doorway with a pair of ledged doors on the right, and a mid-floor passage doorway at the far right, which is accessed by a flight of steps. The interior has not been inspected.
