Description
22, 24, and 26 St Thomas Street are a row of three small townhouses built in the early 19th century. The ground floor is rendered on rubble, while the upper floors feature asbestos slate hanging on studwork. The roofs are made of rag slate, and there are two brick axial stacks. The overall layout is U-shaped, including rear wings that are set at right angles. The buildings are two storeys high and have a total of four window ranges. No. 26, on the left, has a symmetrical two-window front with mid-19th century six-pane hornless sashes, a central four-panel door, and an overlight. No. 24 has a similar sash above a 20th-century door, while No. 22 features late 19th-century four-pane horned sashes and a five-panel door on its left, with the top panel glazed. The interiors have not been inspected.
