Description
The Rickard monument is a headstone located in the churchyard about 12 metres north of the north aisle of the Church of St Andrew in Calstock. It dates from the 18th century and is made of slate. The monument features a segmental head adorned with finely carved naturalistic flowers and leaves. There is an oval inscription panel that includes scrolled decoration, commemorating Martin Rickard, who passed away in 1792.
