Description

This is a disused granary located 20 meters north of Costislost, dating from the early 19th century. It features a timber frame that is hung with slate and patched with corrugated sheet metal. The structure is supported by two rows of three brick piers, which have slate overhanging caps that function as staddle stones. The granary has a slate roof with hipped ends and a rectangular plan.

On the exterior, it is a single-storey building with a plank door and small rectangular timber louvered openings in the side walls. Inside, the horizontal dividing boards that originally slotted into the uprights have been removed and are currently stored.
