5/71 Pair of gate-piers and wall - adjoining south west of Treworvack

GV II

Pair of gate-piers and flanking walls. Probably early C18. Granite. The shafts of the piers are square plan granite monolithis; moulded plinths, torus moulded neck, the cornice caps have cyma noulding which breaks forward as a shield at the centre of each side. Over the caps a conical finial with a torus neck and ball top. Flanking low granite rubble walls, linked to the house to the north and ramped up to the stables qv to the south.
