Description

This building is a shippon located approximately 10 metres south-south-west of Boskenna Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and features a grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends. The shippon has a long rectangular plan and includes stone steps leading up to a loft doorway at the right-hand end. The east-south-east front of the building follows the slope of the land down to the left and has five doorways along with two slit ventilators positioned on either side of the middle doorway. The doors are old ledged doors. The interior has not been inspected.
